What Should I Know
Introduction
Penang Christian Centre is usually known by the acronym PCC. We are part of the Assemblies of God, Malaysia. We believe in the following —
- Lordship of Christ.
- The Bible inspired by God.
- Dependence on the Holy Spirit.
- Aligning with God's will.
- Emphasis on Prayer and Fasting.
Our aim is to provide a dynamic and meaningful celebration with faithful and relevant preaching of God's Word with a multigenerational carecell integrating the whole family into the life of the church in worship, discipleship, fellowship and ministry.
The church does not only function on weekends. On weekdays the PCC staff toil about their work, helping the church function and grow. They are a group of friendly, approachable people and would be most delighted to meet you and get you connected. This is because there are 5 cultures PCC wishes to achieve, which are —
i) evangelism ii) nurturing iii) discipleship iv) leadership development v) pastoral care What should I expect
Services: Our services include singing and Bible teaching. Our singing is an act of praise and worship to God. Please feel free to express your worship by sitting, standing, or dancing, etc. This is followed by a sermon from the speaker.
Dresscode: At Penang Christian Centre, we have more concerns for the heart than the outward appearance. During our worship service you'll see everything from jeans to the traditional Malaysian attire. We prefer clothing that does not draw attention to themselves simply because we do not want what you wear to distract others from experiencing God.

Taking the Next Step
i) Be a regular visitor of PCC and participate in carecell. ii) Understand and support the vision and strategy of the church and the respective ministry. iii) Attend basic training of the respective ministry conducted in TREQ (Training & Equipping) classes. iv) Volunteer to serve in at least one ministry by approaching the departmental heads.
Programs for Children
We are a multigenerational church of all ages, and that includes babies. Please feel free to use our parent's room for babies and toddlers located next to the worship hall, which includes a private nursing corner. We have children programs for children as soon as they reach attentive age. Our Junior CIDS (Children in Divine Service) classes caters for children aged between 3 to 6 years old. If your child is older, he/she may join the CIDS church for children age between 7 to 12 years old. The ISCA (Inter-School Christ Ambassador) is a fun-packed meeting for teens of age 13 to 17 years old.
